While traveling around the Pacific Northwest and schlepping my bags, I found that I was getting tired out. When we got off the ferry in Seattle and had to go up several steep slopes to our hostel, I finally remembered Steve’s story about the guy doing mountain climbing and throwing out his dantian to help him move up the mountain. I figured that I’d give it a try up the hills of Seattle.

So I tried it and noticed an amazing facility walking up the street. What did I find at the top of the First Street? Elliott Street… I gave a nod to Steve in thanksgiving for a very cool thing to do. I used that technique multiple times on the rest of the trip.
